jaspers not keen on peas in their pods so more often than not i shell them and the last couple of times i've found 'live' caterpillers inside them. the last time was in sugar snap peas. shelling peas Icon_eek

what i'm wondering is how harmul would it be if jasper actually bit into a caterpiller? and seeing as i didnt get not even a sensible reply form another forum i thought you guys might know?

Ewwww, im not sure about that, i would have thought he would be ok if he bit into one, do they not eat bugs and things like that in the wild? Bella, Bellino and Chocko shell their own and theyre ok, not sure whether there has been any caterpillars in them though,
