new picture!

i am wanting to change the picture of the grey on the home page, i don't know who's it is lol. so i thought it would be better to have a picture of one of the members greys up there.

so if you want to take a good picture of your grey and post it here and the winner gets their birdy up on the front page, after pics have been posted i will create a poll for you to vote which is best. also, the background that the bird is in should look good. (if you have more than one grey, get them all in the picture if you want )

sorry but photos cant be taken on a phone as the quality wont be good enough, so digital cameras please.

i will leave it open to post pictures for a week, then create the poll for a week, so in 2 weeks a new picture goes up.

Oh pete that's a shame about no phone pictures,i just can't get on with digital cameras.

well if ya try doing it by phone , and when i have re-sized it i will see if it will be ok, because there are some good cam phones nowadays so it depends what phone ya got. its just i need to re-size to 640 pixel width and i dont want it to be pixelated. but try it.

right i see,will have a try soon if poss. Some pictures of jasper on the other forum were taken from my phone and look o.k but they've never really been made any bigger.

see if i can get round to posting some in.

i put cjs in the gallery, hope you'all can see it... narrowed down to three pics, then one...the other two are sooooo cuteee tooooo! ...hard to decide, lol...but, here's my #1 pick.

i will have to bring the pics down here for when i start the poll but then i will put them back, so if everyone wants to put them in the gallery and i will sort the rest out.

well seen as we only have 2 birds to choose from , i was going to try my luck with photoshop at blending a picture of CJ's and 1 of Captain together to span the width of the site at the top.

photoshop was a disaster lol i don't even know where to start. Anyone know how to use photoshop that is willing to do this for us? if not i will have to start the poll for them both, and only one can get on the site image.

Feika and sweeetnlowww: pick 1 picture each that you would want to use, if some one is willing to do this, if not i will put every picture you posted into a poll.

well after a lot of playing in photo shop i have came up with this for the front page banner. It is simple but it took me ages just to figure out how to add one picture to another lol.





Let me know what you think of this and if you have any suggestions for changes to this let me know.

PS. remember i am a beginner in photoshop lol.
