| if you're just wanting to freshen the smell, baking soda can be used (sprinkle on then vacuum, remove birdies to a different room first)...you can also put some in the water for spot cleaning, or use vinegar and water...our birdies cant stand the fumes of 'normal' cleaners... | |

| I am looking for spot removal. She is not potty trained and leaves little pressies behind at times. However, as you mentioned baking soda is an excellent idea for odor removal. I never use sprays, candles or anything like that. A good air freshener I read about is water, baking soda and lemon in a spray bottle. No masking, non-toxic and natural. Virginia | |

| great tip, thanks! ...(baking cinnamon apples in the oven is not a good idea in summertime, LOL) ...i am the newspaper mover lady when cjs is on carpeted areas, and those plastic tablecloths (i buy the disposible kind that comes on a roll and you cut off the amount you need) are wonderful! | |
